AVHS Fab Lab Drone project propels interest in STEM careers!

This little drone engineering and built in our AVHS Fab Lab by Dalton Turner can fly at over 60mph!  This was Dalton's project in our "How to Make Almost Anything" Fab Lab course this past spring.  He came in recently to use the vinyl cutter to create his signature logo sticker for the center of the drone.

This project is the perfect example of how the Fab Lab is being utilized to help ignite an interest in STEM careers.  Dalton is now interested in aerospace engineering.  He has been racing his drone in competitions around the area this summer.
